We recommend that your child see the pediatrician according to the following  schedule to ensure the best care for your child.

If your child is sick, not feeling well, or if you have a special concern, please do not hesitate to call our office as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.

Newborns

Please notify our office of your expected due date and the hospital in which you will be delivering. The following is the recommended schedule for newborns, but the schedule may vary depending on your infant's needs.

  • 2-4 days after birth
  • 2 weeks
  • 1 month
  • 2 months
  • 3 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 12 months (must be after 1st birthday)
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 24 months
  • 30 months
  • 3 years
  • 4 years

School age children

School age children should have a checkup every year.

  • 7 years
  • 8 years
  • 9 years
  • 10 years
  • 11 years
  • 12 years

Older Children and Adolescents

Older children should also have a checkup every year as their bodies are rapidly growing.  An up-to-date current well-check is also necessary for sports and camp physical forms.
